This small town, personable pharmacy was consistently good for many years but, honestly, has declined somewhat since the recent change of ownership. Lots of mistakes are cropping up now - not enough to change pharmacies...not yet anyway.
Great place to stop by for a pint of liquor or a case of beer.
Today, December 24, 2017, I went to Whiteford pharmacy to pick up a couple of my prescriptions. I rode along with my brother so he could pick up the alcohol he needed for eggnog. I went over to talk to my brother and then informed him I was going to the car to wait. He then went to go buy the alcohol and ladies at the desk asked my brother if I was at least 21 years of age. (paraphrasing they said) "We are going to need her I.D to to prove she is over 21. So you will have to go get her." (Which he then said I was not of age) at that point they refused him the sale because I was not over 21. So from what I have gathered, if you come to the store with someone who is not of age to buy alcohol (even if picking up their perscription) you will be denied the sale. He clearly informed them that it was for him and my dad and I would not be having any. In addition to this incident, they didn't have enough of my medication to completely fill it, so I will have to come back in order to get the rest. They also did not feel the need to call and alert me of their shortage, instead I showed up and was told. I will be switching Pharmacys to Shoprite of Cardiff. After all, this is where their former pharmacist Frank is now employed. He did a much better job and is much more kind. The customer service has depleted tremendously since the change of ownership. I am very disappointed and I hope this gets the point across. If I could give less than one star, I WOULD!!
